A New Beginning

This time, Gail stretched her legs.
She bent her knees and did some neck flexes.
(Inhale. On the count of four, through the nose. Exhale.)
She tried again.
“Read my lips. It’s over.”

This weekend we're asking for 33 words about a new beginning.

  6. And i began with an aerobics girl in mind. Am amazed at how you managed to narrate a character and with a twist too, all in just 33 words. Grand job, kymm

  7. I also didn't expect the ending. Breaking up is hard...and is even more difficult when the other person doesn't get it :)

  9. Mysterious... what's over? The flexing put me in mind of a fighter preparing for a boxing match.
