One Ocean, Two Seas in Firth

I have a very special poem in the first issue of Firth, and I wanted an equally special spot to place the second contributor's copy that Firth urged us to leave "for someone to find, and hopefully to read and enjoy."

From Scotland to Barcelona, from Barcelona to Jamaica Plain. Bon voyage, Firth!!

Visit Firth on facebook.

For the record, the poem is for Keith.

Crewing for Bonnie

I was so pleased to be included in the Bonnie´s Crew print anthology, out this past May, with my poem "Growing Up Girl". This small but powerful book of poetry, apart from wowing you with poems, dedicates all proceeds to the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit via the Children's Heart Surgery Fund (Leeds, U.K.).

To order a copy of the anthology, head to Bonnie's Crew.

Here's a link to the JustGiving page.

And Bonnie's Crew is also an ongoing, online poetry site. Enjoy!

Alejandra Kamiya's "Rice" : Short Story Translation for Palabras Errantes

Because the Palabras Errantes site is no longer available online, I'm removing the links and putting the PDF here below the original. I'm sad we can't access the site anymore.

I have a translation of Alejandra Kamiya's short story Rice up at Palabras Errantes.

Rice / Arroz

[http://www.palabraserrantes.com/rice/] No longer viable.

Palabras Errantes is (was) full of English translations of Argentine short stories.

Rice/Arroz is (was) part of the series called Hija: Literary Daughters in Argentina.

Here is the PDF of my translation:
