Felicia

What she saw twenty years ago
sent her so far away
that it took her twenty years to get back.
She’s back,
but her eyes no longer see;
she is no longer she.

  2. I like it. Haunting. She's back but far from the person she was when she left. Nice.

  3. Everyone would be different in 20 years especially a zombie. Sad but inevitable. Wonder where this goes?

  5. I really like this. It highlights what could turn someone so different from who they were. "It took her 20 years to get back" very much resonates in me for many reasons. Very well done.

  7. I like the suggestion of her losing her mind and still being lost twenty years later. Makes one wonder what she saw...

  8. Thank you all for your comments (I don't know how to reply to individual comments).
    I like these 33-word prompts for the stories they might start.
